Biography

Welzenis is a painter.

His artworks continue in the tradition of Abstract Expressionism, the American art movement of the 1950’s. His emotional state of mind, rather than tangible reality, is his point of departure.

Welzenis is founder of Barbara, and co-founder of artists collective Abstracte.
